Administrator: Susan Legg View Biography
With CHRISTUS Dubuis Health System since 2007, Susan Legg commands an extensive knowledge of referral development, physician relations and hospital administration, especially strong in the Long Term Acute Care arena. Past experiences include Corporate Director of Physician Relations for four years at a national LTAC chain, and CEO of one of that company’s 50-bed hospitals. She earlier served seventeen years in various capacities for a large for-profit provider of LTAC and other health care services. Key roles held by Susan included CEO of a 165-bed long term acute care hospital and a 40-bed adult psychiatric unit; start-up CEO of a 46-bed Texas LTAC; and Executive Director of Business Development and Director of Recruitment in their western and the eastern United States regions. Legg’s B.S. Degree was earned in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University in Georgia. In addition to her Administrator responsibilities, Susan also formally provides Referral Development expertise to the entire CHRISTUS Dubuis Health System network.

Dr. William Dudding is board certified in Family Practice. Dr. Dudding received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine in Little Rock, Arkansas. His residency was completed at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Advance Care Hospital of Fort Smith is located within St. Edwards Mercy
Medical Center, a health system that has served the needs of Fort Smith
and surrounding communities since 1905. Advance Care Hospital of Fort Smith
opened in May 1993. Today it has a total of 25 long-term acute care beds to
provide care to medically complex patients. These patients require extended
acute care hospitalization with specialty programs focusing on ventilator
dependency, wound care, and rehabilitation. Services provided by Advance Care
Hospital of Fort Smith include, but are not limited to, the following:
24-hour nursing care, acute and post-ICU medical care, ventilator care and
weaning with 24-hour respiratory care, wound care, comprehensive inpatient
physical, occupational, and speech rehabilitation, cardiac monitoring, IV
therapy, blood transfusions, dialysis, therapeutic nutritional support, pain
management, case management, social work services, patient and family
education.
