Administrator: Maresa Henry View Biography
Prior to her current Administrator role at CHRISTUS Dubuis of Houston, Maresa served as the Manager of Resources and Outcomes and Education Coordinator at the hospital. She also held several supervisory and middle management positions at St. Joseph Hospital before her CHRISTUS Dubuis tenure. Maresa holds a B.S. in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University and a Masters in Public Administration from Texas Southern University. She is a member of the Texas Gulf Coast Association for Healthcare Quality, SISTA Circle (a non profit organization providing extracurricular activities to youth), and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Women’s Lighthouse of Change. Dr. Paul James received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Memphis, Tennessee. He is board certifies in General Surgery. He interned at St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. James’ surgical residency was done in the CHRISTUS St. Joseph Family practice Residency Program in Houston, Texas.

CHRISTUS Dubuis Hospital of Houston is located within St. Joseph Medical Center,
a health care facility that has been offering compassionate healthcare to
generations of Houstonians since 1887. CHRISTUS Dubuis Hospital of Houston opened
in March 1997. Today it has a total of 30 long-term acute care beds to provide
care to medically complex patients. These patients require extended acute care
hospitalization with specialty programs focusing on ventilator dependency,
wound care, and rehabilitation. Services provided by CHRISTUS Dubuis Hospital of Houston
include, but are not limited to, the following: 24-hour nursing care, acute and
post-ICU medical care, ventilator care and weaning with 24-hour respiratory
care, wound care, comprehensive inpatient physical, occupational, and speech
rehabilitation, cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, blood transfusions, dialysis,
therapeutic nutritional support, pain management, case management, social work
services, patient and family education.
