Before joining Dubuis as Administrator of Dubuis Hospital of Paris before the site opened in July of 2002, Berry previously served in Administrator and Executive Director positions at a Critical Access Hospital in Florida. Berry has also formerly held positions of Administrator in Rehab and Diagnostic/Surgical facilities and rural hospitals. Berry’s earliest career in healthcare was gained in the area of Patient Accounting and Billing. Berry holds a BS in Business Administration from University of Montevallo in Alabama and a Masters in Health Services Administration from College of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Medical

Dubuis Hospital of Shreveport is located within CHRISTUS Schumpert – St.
Mary Place, which has a long, proud tradition of providing the
community and surrounding areas with the latest technology combined with the
best possible hands-on care. Dubuis Hospital of Shreveport originally
opened in December 1994 and moved its site inside of CHRISTUS Schumpert – St.
Mary Place in July 1996. Today it has a total of 36 long-term acute
care beds to provide care to medically complex patients. These patients require
extended acute care hospitalization with specialty programs focusing on
ventilator dependency, wound care, and rehabilitation. Services provided by Dubuis
Hospital of Shreveport include, but are not limited to, the following:
24-hour nursing care, acute and post-ICU medical care, ventilator care and
weaning with 24-hour respiratory care, wound care, comprehensive inpatient
physical, occupational, and speech rehabilitation, cardiac monitoring, IV
therapy, blood transfusions, dialysis, therapeutic nutritional support, pain
management, case management, social work services, patient and family
education.
